I can't believe I forgot to mention the Obama Department of Defense's policy to deplete the supply of ammunition by requiring destruction of fired military cartridge brass! And of course, the banning of assault weapons in the US to help Mexico curb THEIR violence! Then there's H.R. 45 that creates a national database of current gun owners, requires psychiatric testing and fingerprinting to obtain a license, and places new restrictions on gun use and storage.
And while Obama was patting himself on the back over his first 100 days, Vision America tells us "at that very hour Attorney General Eric Holder was in Germany discussing the release of the detainees at Guantanamo Bay, which is in compliance with his order that it be closed by January 2010."
"United States law provides that aliens can be excluded if they have been affiliated with a terrorist organization or have received any type of terrorist training." But not under an Obama administration!! "Out of 240 Gitmo detainees, a total of thirty have been cleared for release. In a statement last month, Director of National Intelligence Dennis Blair indicated that that they will need assistance to start over."
"There will be no shortage of legal representation for the terrorists either. Attorney General Holder’s former law firm actually brags on its website that it 'represents 17 Yemeni nationals and one Pakistani citizen held at Guantánamo Bay. We also plan to petition the Supreme Court to hear our Pakistani client’s appeal from the D.C. Circuit’s order dismissing his case. Further, we are pursuing relief in the D.C. Circuit under the Detainee Treatment Act of 2005 for all of our clients.'
"To sum it up, the FBI is searching for embedded terrorists in the United States who are Al Qaeda trained and bent on the destruction of America and freedom while at the same time accommodating a President and an administration who wants to help embed them on American streets and then expect taxpayers to foot the bill!"
Well, you can be sure the atrocities will continue to mount until Obama achieves total destruction of this country, and I don't have the time and energy to keep counting them! Yesterday my daily email scripture read, "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things. -- Philippians 4:8"
And thinking about Obama and what he is doing to our country and our liberties is certainly not lovely!! It can be quite depressing! One thing's for certain. None of Obama's antics are taking our heavenly Father by surprise! He is still in control. He may well be using Obama to bring judgment on this country, but even if this country fails, I know good will come of it! God's people turn back to Him in times of crisis and He is allowing this wickedness to give us a chance to do just that!! For OUR good and for our eternal salvation! So let us look to our Savior, "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." -Phil. 4:19. GOD supplies all our needs by Jesus Christ! Not some MAN! I trailed one of those stupid HOPE bumper stickers today and thought about what misplaced hope it was to have it in corrupt man! Especially when people had to turn their backs on God's moral laws to place their hope in him!! But here's where our HOPE should be:
Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD. - Psalm 31:24
Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear Him, upon them that hope in His mercy; - Psalm 33:18
That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep His commandments: - Psalm 78:7
It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD. - Lamentations 3:26
Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope - 1 Timothy 1:1b
Who by (Christ) do believe in God, that raised Him up from the dead, and gave Him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God. - 1 Peter 1:21
And every man that hath this hope in Him purifieth himself, even as He is pure. - 1 John 3:3
