I recently moved and while packing up things I have not seen for years, I came across a journal I had written when my son was small. I enjoyed reading about events I had forgotten. One account was about when he was 3 years old and we were decorating a Christmas tree while listening to Christmas carols. I was telling him the nativity story about the birth of Jesus in the manger. He told me that when Jesus was a baby, they called him Barney. Barney? Well, some people called him Jesus, but some called him Barney, like in the song we had just heard, "Bar-ney's the Ki-ing of Is-ra-el"! :-)

Now Is the Time to Stand for God's Laws Rather Than Man's
In the news today is an article forecasting a nationwide "witch hunt" in the U.S. because of the expanded "hate crimes" law signed by President Obama.

The timing for the recent Manhattan Declaration couldn't be better. The Manhattan Declaration is a call of Christian conscience signed by many Christian leaders and regular folk who have vowed not to abandon or compromise Biblical truth regardless of immoral or unjust laws.

The Manhattan Declaration states the following:
"Christians, when they have lived up to the highest ideals of their faith, have defended the weak and vulnerable and worked tirelessly to protect and strengthen vital institutions of civil society, beginning with the family.

I read with interest an article by Jan Markell of Olive Tree Ministries:

She discusses a controversy that has broken out over the Manhattan Declaration. I am disappointed to see the division over this declaration to stand on and defend three truths regarding life, marriage, and religious liberty. The controversy has arisen because of the alliance that includes some of different faiths "preaching a different gospel" and Christians are not to be "unequally yoked". I believe this division is merely a tool of the devil to prevent something very good. Nothing in this declaration says you must believe as the other signers do in any area except on these three things:
1. the sanctity of human life
2. the dignity of marriage as the conjugal union of husband and wife
3. the rights of conscience and religious liberty.
Nothing else need be compromised. I remember back when I first joined Concerned Women for America. A speaker at an introductory meeting spoke of CWA's former hesitance about endorsing one of the measures that was to restrict abortion. I can't recall now which one it was, but it was something like parental notification. CWA is unconditionally pro-life and had initially felt that to support something like a parental notification bill (or whatever like it was being debated at the time) would be to endorse abortion as long as the parents knew. But they took a stand for the bill. After all, there was no bill to abolish abortion, so if CWA hadn't supported the bill, there was still going to be abortion, but by parental notification, some abortions would be prevented. Some babies' lives would be saved, and some young teenagers' emotional lives might be spared future pain and despair.
I believe the Manhattan Declaration is a wonderful instrument to unite Christians on these three issues and to make a bold united statement to an increasingly corrupt and immoral government that we will not compromise Biblical truth. A stand like this could embolden Christians to uphold God's laws and His Word, even if we have to suffer as Christians as a result of it. That is what we are called to do. I believe this declaration could make great strides in reminding Christians what we are called to do when man's laws conflict with God's laws, but instead many of them wind up squabbling and divided. Jan's article politely reminds us not to judge the signers or non-signers of the declaration. I will understand that true Christians try to act prayerfully and only their God knows their hearts. I would only want to plead with them to see that this is a mighty area where we truly can agree.

What Luck! Fantastic Timing on a "Historic EPA Finding" Just Out Today!
In the wake of the proof that global warming data is falsified and manipulated in order to push forth an agenda, on the very day the Copenhagen talks are to begin, here comes the Environmental Protection Agency with a "historic finding": greenhouse gases endanger Americans' health! How convenient! Now this belligerent administration can force even more governmental control on cars, homes, factories, and companies, with or without Congress! Just as it forces health care "reform" on a majority of people who don't want it! Now, in addition to rationing health care, with the radicals in this administration, we'll be "nudged" (forced) to become vegetarians and to limit childbirth, willingly or unwillingly, as there are those in power who believe that it's okay to break the law as long as it is for the "ultimate good", for instance even going as far as putting sterilants in the public water system! This administration is one out of a nightmare science fiction, but it's truly happening, as the sleeping sheeple drone on.

Obama is a Murderer!
Wow! A month without internet as I have moved into an area where I can't get it easily. I've felt so cut off from the world and the news, since you often have to look to world news from elsewhere to get the truth as you certainly can't believe our state-controlled media.
The news of late that has really caught my attention and alarmed me as it should every American:
Probably the worst most appalling news I have heard yet out of this administration was the report of a study that showed that Obama had SAVED or CREATED 2 1/2 million Afghan lives with his policies! It makes me want to scream at the insanity! While this president sat on his rear ignoring his commander in the field, endangering American troops by not giving them what they need, his administration can actually spin it as his CREATING LIFE??!! Absolute insanity! If Obama wants to claim CREATION, then he must also be held personally responsible for the MURDER of American troops, and murder in mass numbers with the murder of millions of unborn with his repeal of the Mexico City Policy and his pushing of health-care "reform" that will ration care. Side note - hasn't it been interesting to see the state-run's reports lately that women really don't need so many mammograms or pap smears after all? I guess Obama has been right all along; those greedy doctors do unnecessary tests all the time, but the government knows better than our doctors what we need. I digress, my point was to show how many of Obama's policies and actions MURDER rather than save or create. This man is more radical than most when it comes to abortion; three times he voted not to save a fully born live baby who miraculously survived a botched abortion. He vows to pass what is called a Freedom of Choice Act which would remove all restrictions to abortion including common sense ones like parental involvement, counseling, or ultrasound, or the banning of partial birth abortion. His administration is full of the most radical pro-abortion people and those who believe in population control, even if by unethical means. The fact that a claim was made that Obama SAVED or CREATED lives is absurd on a spiritual level, as well. No MAN creates life, but to make this claim of one who is so anti-life is ludicrous and the stuff of anti-Christ.
Then came the Ft. Hood shooting and the news that our Army Chief of Staff actually believes that diversity is more important than the 13 lives that were lost. Political correctness made officials ignore all the signs of this terrorist and resulted in the murder of 13 innocent Americans.
Then there's the news of Obama's Attorney General bringing the 9/11 terrorist trials to New York. Non-Americans responsible for the murder of thousands of Americans are given the rights devoted to American citizens. Can there be a more insane move? We have truly become a laughing stock of the world. We have emboldened terrorists which is so plainly evident by the news that followed when we heard that Navy Seals who captured a most wanted terrorist were facing court-martial because the terrorist had a bloody lip. HUH?? Well, why not? The terrorists are much more intelligent than our administration; they can plainly see how to work it to their advantage. Insanity!! Can anyone doubt that Obama's actions will be responsible for the murder of many more lives than can ever be claimed he saved?

They will tell you it's no such thing, but they voted down an amendment that would have prevented protection for pedophiles, so what are we to reason? The eloquent Dem. White House Admits That It Controls the News, But Says FOX News Is Not Really News (Maybe Because It Is Not Controlled?)
It makes me crazy the way this administration constantly accuses opponents of doing exactly what it does. This administration does one thing and tells the people it is actually doing another and says that it's the other side that's really doing the first thing. And somehow we're supposed to just take their word for it, and sadly, many people do. The latest example is the laughable comment by David Axelrod that FOX News "is not really a news station"; "IT'S PUSHING A POINT OF VIEW"! The emphasis is mine. Incredible that the mainstream media that does Obama's bidding is considered "NEWS", but any that dares to question the GREAT TRANSPARENT ONE cannot be news.

The news just slays me today with the official news from the government-run Social Security that there will be no cost of living increase in social security checks next year, but the government executor will himself give seniors $250.00! He couldn't just okay S/S to pay the increase. No, magnanimous Saint Obama must himself be the one to save the seniors! The same Obama who wants to cut their Medicare 20% that will result in rationed health care. But the IMAGE must be that HE is the savior to be adored! It was absolutely sickening to hear the comments of people standing in line in Michigan for handouts positively singing the praises of Obama because he was giving them money! This is a sick society under this administration becoming sicker by the day with Obama's obvious hatred for what has always made America great. He sucks up to the people who hate us, shoves our best allies under the bus, disdainfully cuts down heartland Americans and their values, spends our children's futures forcing them into a bondage never known in this country, and marches onward to Marxism. People better wake up and start looking to their only real savior and reject the godlessness of this antichrist! And no, I'm not saying he is THE antichrist, but never in our recent history has there been such an antichrist spirit at the helm. It's probably too late. As God told Jeremiah,

Pretty interesting how most of the changes are due to take affect the year AFTER he expects to win a second term. Why can't the Obamabots see??? Well, after all, he did win the Nobel Peace prize! What a joke in that one, supposedly awarded for his accomplishments as President of the United States? After 9 months? The Government to Control Your Food?
We march ever closer to that time when we won't be able to buy or sell unless we pledge allegiance to or worship the antichrist. Whether or not Obama is THE antichrist, he certainly has the spirit of antichrist, and the Bible told us there would be many antichrists. In all his actions and associations, he is the very definition of ANTI-Christ, yet he arrogantly and blasphemously uses the words of our Christ. And amid the disinterest of the yawning people, he continues to set up his kingdom. He appoints countless czars who don't have to answer to congress, but only to him. Lower milk prices are hurting the dairy farmers, but somehow Dean Foods, who makes Horizon Dairy products, made money! How dare a private business make money when dairy farmers are hurting, so now comes a congressional investigation. It won't be long before the government controls our food. If it controls your health care, it will want to control what you eat for "disease prevention" anyway, but big brother will also be there the redistribute the wealth and make sure no one is making money when you have to struggle! There are also talk and plans to regulate our private food gardens! When government starts meddling, they can't stop. When they start regulating private businesses and cause prices to go up, and the people start finding alternatives and don't pay the prices, what happens to the prices? Then government has to bail out the troubling businesses! Just like the high gas prices the libs were so happy to have, they said $5.00 a gallon wasn't too much, if it would force Americans to stop driving their gas guzzlers. Oh, but there was a problem when people stopped driving and using so much gas - not enough gas tax revenue! What government controls, it messes up, but then the people somehow think government can fix it. And meanwhile we are allowing this Obama kingdom to be set up where he seeks to control everything, even the food we eat, but the people think it is outrageous to see the biblical prophecy parallels? I think THAT is outrageous, and frankly, stupidly naive!

One Way or Another the RFID Tracking "Mark" Will Be Forced Upon Us!
One way or another, the radio frequency identification chip is sure to be forced upon us. If we can't be convinced of a need for routine tracking purposes, then we can be forced into it for the "global good" to identify "bio-threats". The following article appeared in World Net Daily today:

You Thought We Were Fighting to Keep a Death Panel Out of the Health Care Bill? TOO LATE! We Already Have One!
Incredible! But in the spendulous bill that no one read, it seems we already have a so-called "death panel"! An article in The American Thinker today tells us:
"H.R. 1 (more commonly known as the Recovery and Reinvestment Act, even more commonly known as the Stimulus Bill and aptly dubbed the Porkulus Bill) contains a whopping $1.1 billion to fund the Federal Coordinating Council for Comparative Effectiveness Research. The Council is the brain child of former Health and Human Services Secretary Nominee Tom Daschle. Before the Porkulus Bill passed, Betsy McCaughey, former Lieutenant governor of New York, wrote in detail about the Council's purpose.
"Daschle's stated purpose (and therefore President Obama's purpose) for creating the Council is to empower an unelected bureaucracy to make the hard decisions about health care rationing that elected politicians are politically unable to make. The end result is to slow costly medical advancement and consumption. Daschle argues that Americans ought to be more like Europeans who passively accept 'hopeless diagnoses.'
"McCaughey goes on to explain: Daschle says health-care reform 'will not be pain free.' Seniors should be more accepting of the conditions that come with age instead of treating them.
"Who is on the Council? One of its most prominent members is none other than Dr. Death himself Ezekiel Emanuel. Dr. Emanuel's views on care of the elderly should frighten anyone who is or ever plans on being old. He explains the logic behind his discriminatory views on elderly care as follows:
"Unlike allocation by sex or race, allocation by age is not invidious discrimination; every person lives through different life stages rather than being a single age. Even if 25-year-olds receive priority over 65-year-olds, everyone who is 65 years now was previously 25 years.
"On average 25-year-olds require very few medical services. If they are to get the lion's share of the treatment, then those 65 and over can expect very little care. Dr. Emanuel's views on saving money on medical care are simple: don't provide any medical care. Think again. That one may be a done deal, too, according to the following article. The White House cites a "compelling need" to lift a government ban on tracking visitors to government websites that has been in effect since 2000. Tracking cookies can do more than just recall user names and passwords of visitors who return to their favorite web sites. The World Net Daily article states, "They can also track, retrieve and report selected movements someone makes on the Internet. Through the use of cookies, the federal government could have the power to create an individual profile of anyone who visits a government website – right down to a person's recent online purchases, or even race, gender and income level."
There is much evidence to indicate that the White House has already been spying, if not with cookies from its own site, then surely through its contracts with Facebook, YouTube, Google, Flickr, and others. Has anyone else been getting emails from President Obama, Michele Obama, or David Axlerod for which they never signed up? See the entire article here.

Thousands of Americans Are Brutally Tortured in the U.S. Every Year!
Thousands of innocent people are being tortured in our country every year in a horrific manner, yet there is not much outcry. While liberals cry out about what they call "torture" of prisoners accused of terroristic actions against Americans, while in fact waterboarding merely makes really bad guys only feel like they're drowning, but doesn't really hurt them, those same liberals seem to have no problem with the real brutal torture of some of the most innocent of our society. Can you believe in America it is not a crime to use long sharp scissors to rip a wound into the base of a human being's skull and kill him/her? Then after that, a high powered vacuum is used to suction out the brain so that the head collapses. Of course, I'm talking about an abortion procedure. This is a living baby who could live on its own. This is not a mass of tissue; this is a baby with skin and bones and arms and legs so fully developed that it has become too difficult to dismember the baby through other abortion methods. This is a baby that is delivered LIVE almost all the way, with only the head left, and that's when the abortionist performs his horrific torture. If the baby had been delivered all the way, it would be considered murder. Would anyone doubt that this would be a deplorable tortuous and painful act to do to a precious innocent newborn baby? Yet two minutes before this precious baby is born, it's not supposed to hurt and it's merely a medical procedure? How insane is that logic?
Take it a step further. How about a baby who is "accidentally" delivered all the way when an abortion was intended? This IS a live newborn baby outside of the womb, but there are people who believe that because an abortion had been the intention, that it is okay to allow that baby to be starved and left on a shelf to die from exposure, suffocation, and no care. PRESIDENT OBAMA IS ONE OF THEM! He voted on THREE separate occasions against The Born Alive Infants Protection Act, which would protect these newborn babies! This is the same president who believes that making terrorists "think" they are drowning in order to get valuable information that could save American lives, is TORTURE, and wants a criminal investigation into this treatment of prisoners accused of TERROR! But innocent babies, that's entirely different!!
Jill Stanek is the nurse who brought the truth of the fate of these babies born alive after a botched abortion to light, and thankfully the Born Alive Infants Protection Act was signed into law. Although this interview on the O'Reilly Factor is an old one from 2000, it's a must-see if you haven't seen it. The horror of this actually leaves Bill O'Reilly speechless.
But our current president seems to have no problem with it. And he and many liberals have no problem with tortuous partial birth abortion! I get so angry about this administration being so concerned about the supposed "torture" of terror criminals and wanting criminal investigations of the people who were doing their best to save American lives!! Oh, Obama sounds so high and virtuous as he claims "that under my administration the United States does not torture"! But it does! The constitutionality of the Partial Birth Abortion Ban continues to be fought and the procedure is still legal in some parts of the country. And where is the outrage over that? Obama calls the evil things good, and good things, evil.
Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! - Isaiah 5:20
And what does God think about the killing of the most innocent?
Surely at the commandment of the LORD this came upon Judah, to remove them from His sight because of the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he had done, and also because of the innocent blood that he had shed; for he had filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, which the LORD would not pardon. - 2 Kings 24:3-4
"This" being total destruction because of the sins of Manasseh, which among other things, were the sacrificing of children and "seducing" the people to do more evil than nations the Lord had destroyed before because of their evil.
Also he (Manasseh) caused his sons to pass through the fire in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom... - 2 Chronicles 33:6a
So Manasseh seduced Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to do more evil than the nations whom the LORD had destroyed before the children of Israel. - 2 Chronicles 33:9
Therefore as surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I will give you over to bloodshed and it will pursue you. Since you did not hate bloodshed, bloodshed will pursue you. - Ezekiel 35:6
These six things the LORD hates, yes, seven are an abomination to Him: A proud look, A lying tongue, Hands that shed innocent blood... - Proverbs 6:16-17
But we have the audacity to believe that God will overlook the United States' shedding of the most innocent blood? And what about the people who could overlook this horror and vote for and support a man who advocates this murder and worse for the most innocent, who wants to force it upon the world, who wants to force all of us as taxpayers to pay for it, and doesn't want to allow doctors a conscientious objection to performing it? I believe we are definitely seeing a prophecy of the end times coming to fruition when people turn from the faith, listening to deceiving and demonic spirits, and their consciences are seared:
Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron... - 1 Timothy 4:1-2
Who could deny that all of Paul's words in Romans, chapter 1, are seen today?
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like corruptible man--and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things. Therefore God also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. No War on Jihadists But War on American Citizens?
In one day since posting the incredible site on that religion of peace, Islam, I have personally seen two disturbing news stories:
Three pastors were beheaded by Islamic extremists for refusing to convert to Islam.
Islamic extremists torched fifty homes and a church, murdering at least fourteen Christians in Pakistan.
But there is no war on terror nor any jihadists according to this administration.
However, there does appear to be a war on American citizens. Average Americans who are legitimately upset with Obama's health care plan and many of their Democrat representatives who support it, who just want to be heard by Congressmen they feel are ignoring their constituents, are called "angry mobs" and "rabid right-wing extremists" and there is talk about how "outside the mainstream" the Republican party is because a few protesters have used a Nazi SS symbol or swastika to show their opposition to Nazi style policies. Nancy Pelosi referred to "Astroturf protesters carrying swastikas". Interestingly, Pelosi's own constituents comparing former Pres. Bush to Hitler and using swastikas in place of the S in his name, are NOT outside the mainstream:

No Longer a War on Terror Nor Any Jihadists?
The Obama administration has confirmed that there is no longer a "war on terror", nor will there be any talk of "jihadists". John Brennan, head of the White House Office of Homeland Security, said in a speech on Thursday that the terms "war on terror," "global war" and "jihadists" are now off the table, as far as this administration is concerned. The website is very difficult to read, not because it's difficult to understand, but it is quite difficult to stomach, but it SHOULD be read by every American! There are disturbing photographs and alarming facts like the number of Islamic terror attacks since September 11, 2001: 13,770, and growing every day! That's the number of ATTACKS, not the number of people killed or injured. In July of this year, there were 207 documented jihad attacks in 25 different countries, killing 838 people, and critically wounding 2304. There is a detailed list of Islamic terror attacks for the past 2 months that goes on and on and on and on.
But we should not be at war with this religion of peace? Where are the defenders of the children who are beaten and chained into submission? Where are the feminists and why aren't they outraged by the abuse of women in Islamic countries? What about for the rape victims in the UK and other countries that apparently place a higher value on MULTICULTURALISM than they do on the women victims?

"It is precisely that concept that multiculturalism dislikes intently, multiculturalism states that you can have significant populations of other cultures, practicing their culture, living in Germany for example and there will not be any conflict of cultural ideals, provided that the host country - in this case Germany makes concessions to the other culture.
"Multiculturalism does not tolerate the concept of a united nation state, united in the sense of its own culture being predominant within that country, this is a big no - no.
"The multiculturalist concept fractures countries and leads to the partition of those countries, Kosovo is a prime example of this happening.
"When the "guest" cultures grow bigger the demands upon the" host" country grow stronger, inevitably the host country has to surrender more of its own values, principles and practices in order to accommodate the wishes of their guests - not to do so would be seen as racist or Xenophobic.

Crowley helping a handicapped Professor Gates behind the Oblivious One. You remember the Sgt. Crowley who was called racist by Prof. Gates and "acting stupidly" by Obama? Incredible is the fact that no one on the White House staff even realized that there was anything wrong with this photo! This is the administration that truly cares about you!

What IS Obama Hiding?
I was just called a birther tonight. I never really thought of myself as a birther, rather more of a truth seeker. I have followed the birth certificate issue since well before the election. I hoped and prayed that Obama would be found to be ineligible to be President, because I knew how horrible his policies would be for our country. But when even Hillary never exposed him as foreign-born, I suspected he must be a native-born citizen. But many things just did not add up, and more questions surfaced than answers. Why wouldn't he release his records? As soon as John McCain's eligibility was questioned, he immediately produced birth records to prove his eligibility. Why, some even call Obama one of the original birthers as he voted for the resolution in the McCain case that stated both parents (emphasis on the plural) must be American citizens.
Now a year later with this story bigger than ever and no longer possible to be ignored by the mainstream media, Obama still won't release the records and has spent over $1 million to keep them hidden. Why the secrecy from the man who has always promised transparency? Not only secrecy, but lies. Obama is definitely hiding something, but it may not be his birthplace. This guy doesn't mind lying, even arrogantly so, but one thing he hates is to look stupid. That's why you NEVER found the video of him thanking himself at the St. Patrick's party. I recently remembered something Ann Coulter said about liberal Democrats. She described instances when they themselves would leak bad news about themselves and when everyone was in an uproar about how bad it was, they'd let the REAL news come out that really wasn't as bad as what was leaked. That way the real bad news was a little more palatable because it wasn't as bad as everyone thought. Just imagine if after a year of trying to get Obama's birth certificate, it was finally released and it just showed that Obama wasn't his real father, that no father was listed, or it was some embarrassing figure, that showed Obama had lied. Maybe his school records show he was the dumbest in his class. Whatever he's hiding would be insignificant now if he was found to be a natural born citizen, but may have hurt him early on.
Most "birthers" just want an explanation for the secrecy and a reason for spending taxpayer money to keep the records sealed from the public. And don't try to tell us that facsimile of a certification of live birth is a real birth certificate. And even those newspaper birth announcements don't really cut it when we've seen with our own eyes ARCHIVED news reports change when it deals with news Obama doesn't like. Some people say it's simply not reasonable that a person could trick an entire country to become president if he was truly ineligible, but for someone who believes that all things are ordered by our God, I believe that people can be spiritually blinded if it achieved God's will for this nation at this time to have him as our president.
"Birthers" aren't the ones who keep this issue going, it's the president himself with his lies, secrecy, and arrogant stubbornness in not revealing the records that could make all this go away IF he indeed has the records to do it.

Democrats Censor Obama's Very Own Words as Offensive!
This is an incredible story about how the Democrats on the Franking Commission are censoring House Republicans' mailings to their own constituents:

Very interesting to note that the Democrats find Obama's very own words offensive and censor them, as well:
"Look, the first thing for all of us to understand that is we actually have some -- some choices to make about how we want to deal with our own end-of-life care… we as a culture and as a society [can start] to make better decisions within our own families and for ourselves...at least we can let doctors know and your mom know that, you know what? Maybe this isn't going to help. Maybe you're better off not having the surgery, but taking the painkiller."
I agree, it is very offensive! But he said it, and it's what he meant, and that needs to be understood by the American people, but as always, liberal Democrats don't really want people to know what they really think. They have to hide it or disguise it with pleasant-sounding words so that the American people won't know and won't be offended by what they want to do.
Also censored were the very same words used by Nancy Pelosi when she spoke of "the Republican majority". But now the words "Democratic majority" are not allowed. We must not be allowed to think that any of this could be solely the fault of the Democrats, now could we???
Once again, a testament to the amazing TRANSPARENCY of this administration!

Just when we are told the Obama birth certificate issue is dead because all original long-form birth certificates from that time were destroyed when Hawaii went electronic, here we have two long-form birth certificates from one day after Obama was supposedly born:

You Will Cry Out in That Day Because of Your King Whom You Have Chosen for Yourselves, and the LORD Will Not Hear You
Scary words from our Lord in 1 Samuel 8:18. The same chilling words are found in Jeremiah when God told Jeremiah not to even pray for the wicked people because He would not hear him. The people in Samuel insisted on their worldly king to be like the other countries. "Give us a king to judge us" they begged, even though they had the most loving, merciful, righteous judge. "Give us a king to judge us" they insisted even when Samuel told them what a worldly king would do to them. Samuel was sick about it! But the Lord told him that it wasn't about Samuel, it was about the people rejecting their Lord; it was about them ignoring all He had done for them and forsaking Him for the gods of the world. And He gave them what they wanted, or so what they thought they wanted. And He wasn't interested in hearing their cries when their king wasn't all they hoped for. They had all the warning they needed beforehand, but they chose to ignore the warnings.
Sound at all familiar? This election was very personal to me. I have people in my own family who voted for Obama. I just want to take them by the shoulders, shaking and screaming, "How could you do this to us!?" "How could you do this to our mother?" The scary wicked stream coming from this administration on a daily, if not hourly basis, is the stuff of an Orwellian futuristic science fiction thriller, but it's HERE and NOW! Written into the so-called health care reform bill is nightmarish language of a person's production and usefulness to society being measured to determine their treatment plans. Written into the bill are provisions for forced end-of-life counseling including information on assisted suicide!! Obama has surrounded himself with the most corrupt, wicked, horrific, extreme left individuals in his cabinet. He has chosen 35 czars who don't even have to have Congressional approval! He has chosen czars for posts that mimic cabinet posts! Why are these necessary?? Perhaps to get the people he really wanted in the first place, but was afraid they were too radical to get confirmed?? He has crazy czars who believe in population control to "protect" a society, who believe in forced abortions, forced sterilization, and one wacko even spoke of adding a sterilant to drinking water! Then there's the gem who believes animals should have the right to sue people!!
These things seem way too bizarre to be happening in our country! There's a segment of the population who may find it impossible to believe. I have to keep telling myself that many of these people, many seemingly good people, have just been spiritually blinded. This country insisted on turning its back on God and His righteous laws. With their lofty ideals, they decided they could overlook abortion and vote for a man who voted three times to let BORN ALIVE BABIES die!! They could overlook that because he stood for so many grander ideals! So God allows them to have what they wanted, and now they get forced abortions and sterilization!! They could overlook his support for the killing of Terri Schiavo and for assisted suicide and right to die. So how does forced starvation and killing of your own mother grab you?? Is this change all you hoped for??? It makes me crazy!
But I know, even in this, even if God will not hear our prayers and stop this mad man, that He still protects and blesses His people. He still saves people from eternal death. Our comfortable lives on this planet are not His top priorities. It is the salvation of our very souls that is most important. It is His desire that we, in our utter despair, realize that we were wrong to turn from Him, and repent and turn to Him. Christians will die; Christians will be sacrificed - we know that from reading Biblical prophecy. It need not be now. There are times when God delays His judgment when His people turn from their wicked ways and seek HIM. Why, it is a 99.9% certainty that the guy in the White House is not even eligible to be there! He could be stopped. I realize that it would be horrible on this country if he were removed from office. There could be riots and killing in the streets. There would be utter chaos. It could financially ruin the country. But perhaps that would be within God's will. We deserve His righteous judgment and punishment for the wickedness of this country in the killing of innocent life and turning its back on all His moral laws. But imagine if this people said they didn't care what disaster may come, they just wanted to oust their wicked leader, and return to their Lord. Imagine the possibilities for outcome in that scenario. Even if we can't remove the wicked man, we can possibly stop his agenda by screaming at the top of our lungs to our representatives, demanding it be stopped. I'm not convinced that that will be enough as Obama has been cleverly setting up czars who don't have to answer to Congress and he's taking over the census and funding fraudulent corrupt ACORN with $8 billion in efforts to insure his reelection. Let's pray this wicked man be removed and accept our fate!
If people are blinded, then it was God's will that they be blinded and He can lift the scales. But people have to turn to their Lord for Him to do it. I realize that if people are only listening to the mainstream state-run media, it's more difficult to see the truth. But there are many, many outlets out there speaking truth, and if they turn to their Lord, He'll lead them to truth.
By the way, regarding the state-run media, it seems it is worldwide now. Remember the African news that reported Africa was the continent of Obama's birth? They could overlook that because he stood for so many grander ideals! So God allows them to have what they wanted, and now they get forced abortions and sterilization!! They could overlook his support for the killing of Terri Schiavo and for assisted suicide and right to die. So how does forced starvation and killing of your own mother grab you?? Is this change all you hoped for??? It makes me crazy!
But I know, even in this, even if God will not hear our prayers and stop this mad man, that He still protects and blesses His people. He still saves people from eternal death. Our comfortable lives on this planet are not His top priorities. It is the salvation of our very souls that is most important. It is His desire that we, in our utter despair, realize that we were wrong to turn from Him, and repent and turn to Him. Christians will die; Christians will be sacrificed - we know that from reading Biblical prophecy. It need not be now. There are times when God delays His judgment when His people turn from their wicked ways and seek HIM. Why, it is a 99.9% certainty that the guy in the White House is not even eligible to be there! He could be stopped. I realize that it would be horrible on this country if he were removed from office. There could be riots and killing in the streets. There would be utter chaos. It could financially ruin the country. But perhaps that would be within God's will. We deserve His righteous judgment and punishment for the wickedness of this country in the killing of innocent life and turning its back on all His moral laws. But imagine if this people said they didn't care what disaster may come, they just wanted to oust their wicked leader, and return to their Lord. Imagine the possibilities for outcome in that scenario. Even if we can't remove the wicked man, we can possibly stop his agenda by screaming at the top of our lungs to our representatives, demanding it be stopped. I'm not convinced that that will be enough as Obama has been cleverly setting up czars who don't have to answer to Congress and he's taking over the census and funding fraudulent corrupt ACORN with $8 billion in efforts to insure his reelection. Let's pray this wicked man be removed and accept our fate!
If people are blinded, then it was God's will that they be blinded and He can lift the scales. But people have to turn to their Lord for Him to do it. I realize that if people are only listening to the mainstream state-run media, it's more difficult to see the truth. But there are many, many outlets out there speaking truth, and if they turn to their Lord, He'll lead them to truth.

When a Wicked Man Rules
Proverbs 29:2 tells us, "When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when a wicked man rules, the people groan." We are quickly becoming an oppressed people ruled by an arrogant, self-righteous, belligerent Chicago thug administration that will even break laws to get its way.
We've seen unlawful take-overs of auto companies, banks, and insurance companies. We've seen this administration regulate salaries and bonuses for employees of private companies, going as far as having people fired from private companies.
Now Obama seeks to take over the health care industry. The nightmares blatantly written into this bill are of a science fiction horror story. Government will decide treatment plans rather than doctors and patients, and a formula will be used based on productivity potential of the patient! People will be forced out of their private plans with no choice but the government's plan. As there is no possible way to finance a plan that gives coverage to all, Medicare reimbursements to care-givers are being drastically slashed to unsustainable levels, and many small clinics will have to close. What kind of health care can we expect when all the good doctors quit? What kind of health care can we expect from an administration that vows to give coverage based on productive potential when it has such disdain for Christians, conservatives, the military, and "gun-toting Bible clingers" in the heartland?
Americans utilizing their free speech rights have been debating the health care issue and what does Obama say about that? “I just want to put everybody on notice, because there was a lot of chatter during the week that I was gone. We are going to get this done. Inaction is not an option. And for those naysayers and cynics who think that this is not going to happen, don't bet against us.”
He's going to put us on notice? Because there has been chatter? Against the Almighty One? How dare we?? And anyone who doesn't believe he'll get his way, don't bet against him.
Are we groaning yet?
Who can forget Obama's comment to a Democrat in Congress who dared to vote against his spendulous package? "Don't think we're not keeping score, brother." News Report Cites Africa as the Continent of Obama's Birth
Add that to the growing list of reported and recorded places of his birth. It's getting rather interesting to see the covering and even changing of news reports to try to get a consensus and keep a uniform report of Obama's birthplace. World Net Daily reports on this daily. The birthplace has been reported as Africa, Kapi'olani hospital in Honolulu, and Queen's Medical Centre in Honolulu. It's pretty interesting stuff! Of course, all this could be solved instantly by the Transparent One if he would open one particular record for us to see:

Even "Our" Guys Don't Get Sarah Palin!
It has been amazing to listen to all the political pundits try to figure out Sarah Palin's "strategy" in stepping down from her governorship in Alaska. Even Mike Huckabee, in the linked article, calls it "risky". It's as if they all believe, even the professed Christians, that her political career motivates her every move. Whatever it takes to acquire that all-important crown.....of the presidency?
Sarah Palin has been viciously attacked and drug unmercifully through the mud more than any other candidate in history. She was only a Vice-Presidential candidate! When VP candidates lose their bids for their offices, they usually disappear into obscurity. Who ever remembers a VP candidate, especially if they never return to politics in the future? But the haters continued to hound her, following her back to Alaska, where they brought frivolous lawsuits, 15 ethics violations, all of which she was cleared of in entirety. They could make something up at no cost to them and she had to spend millions to fight them. When one was cleared, they could make up another one! Her looks, her wardrobe, her hair, her accent, her mannerisms were ridiculed beyond the bar. Her children, who are usually off-limits to the media, were also torn apart.
Liberals are obviously very afraid of Sarah Palin and they had to destroy her. They were very afraid she would come back in 2012 and they had to see to it she didn't. Sarah Palin's "bring it on" attitude showed she wasn't afraid of the fight, so they went after her children! They also wouldn't let her do her job. She was constantly having to fight frivolous battles that had huge price-tags for the taxpayers of Alaska, not to mention the half million dollar debt burden that was placed on her family.
Why can't even the "good guys" see that Sarah Palin, the morally ethical Christian woman she is, is simply doing the morally ethical thing and stepping down to stop the burden on the people she was elected to serve? Why can't they see that she has her priorities in the right order and she is stepping down to take care of her priorities? Why can't they see that her eyes are on the "real crown"? It has nothing to do with her not being able to take the heat, but when your children are attacked so viciously and there seems to be no other way to stop it, and when you are costing your taxpayers millions through no fault of your own, and you can't stop it...well, she found the best way she knew to stop it.
Liberals hate Sarah Palin because she is the TRUE American success story. She embodies everything the liberals pretend to care about, but she shows us different moral choices. She is small-town America who made it to the top. She is a most capable and attractive woman who showed you don't have to give up family to be successful. She showed us you don't have to choose abortion in order to have a successful career. She showed us that a Down's Syndrome baby is a precious gift from God and worthy of life. She has pushed a hot button, probably several hot buttons, with liberals, and they hate her!
Because Sarah Palin indeed has her eye on THE crown, she'll still be fighting the moral fight and will be doing what her God leads her to do, but that may not be the presidency. I don't see how it can be, considering the certain cost to her family, but she'll still be doing a mighty work, you can be assured.
This is a terribly sad state of affairs when good ethical moral people are no longer wanted or allowed in government. What on earth can we expect from only unethical immoral people in government?

INCREDIBLE! Obama's OWN Website Admits He Was A Kenyan Citizen!
Joseph Farah at World Net Daily has just pointed out some incredible information. On Obama's OWN Fight the Smears website, he includes a FactCheck.org summary that is supposed to clarify his citizenship, but it only proves that he indeed was a citizen of Kenya at birth!
“When Barack Obama Jr. was born on Aug. 4, 1961, in Honolulu, Kenya was a British colony, still part of the United Kingdom’s dwindling empire. As a Kenyan native, Barack Obama Sr. was a British subject whose citizenship status was governed by The British Nationality Act of 1948. That same act governed the status of Obama Sr.‘s children.
Since Sen. Obama has neither renounced his U.S. citizenship nor sworn an oath of allegiance to Kenya, his Kenyan citizenship automatically expired on Aug. 4, 1982.”
Quoting Farah, "According to (Obama), neither one of (his parents) was an American citizen able to confer natural born citizenship on a child. One, Barack Obama Sr., was a foreign national from Kenya, and the other, Stanley Ann Dunham, was too young to have qualified under the law for bestowing that privilege on her son, even if the father had been a citizen and even in the unlikely event Obama was actually born in Hawaii!"
There is no telling WHAT would be found on that vault birth certificate if it were shown, but it is a surety that it would be incriminating to the Transparent One, or else he wouldn't have to spend millions to prevent it and every other private school record from being discovered. Perhaps he wasn't born in Hawaii at all, but even if he was, by his own admission, his parents weren't able to confer natural born citizenship on him. Besides all the questions about his birth citizenship, there's the small matter of Barry Soetoro being listed as an Indonesian citizen as a child and probably using that Indonesian passport to fly to Pakistan in 1981 when Pakistan was under military rule and it was very difficult for U.S. citizens to travel to that country. So many questions that could easily be cleared up with a little TRANSPARENCY!
What amazes me most about this entire ordeal is that by Obama's own admission and by excerpts on his own website, he tells us he can't possibly be a natural born citizen, yet he also says, "Next time someone talks about Barack’s birth certificate, make sure they see this page", and a scan of a Certificate of Live Birth is shown called "Barack Obama’s Official Birth Certificate", which in fact, is NOT an official birth certificate, and does nothing to prove his birth in Hawaii. But he says it does so that's enough for the sheeple. The audacity, arrogance, and narcissism of this guy knows no bounds! Just like in the campaign, we knew from his actions but also from his own words what we were in for if he became president, but people voted for him anyway! Somehow he could make it go away by telling the sheeple what they wanted to hear, even after saying something completely different the day before! He thinks the sheeple are incredibly stupid, that's for certain! It makes absolutely NO SENSE and that's how we know it is spiritual! People are spiritually blinded and cannot see the truth about this guy even when he tells us! It reminds me of "Left Behind" when Carpathian kills someone in the room and then tells the witnesses what they "really" saw and they believe him!
Joseph Farah asked the question in his commentary, "Why is this man still serving in the White House and turning the country upside down when he is not even constitutionally eligible?" Again the answer can only be because this is a spiritual battle. Why has this man come from nowhere with so little known of his past and no one questions it? Why does the media never question his double-speak and even hides any negative news? Why does no one in our government meant to represent the people do anything about this obvious cover-up? It IS covered up, regardless of whether you think it is true or not. Any reasonable person would have to admit Obama has spent a lot of money to cover up the facts, when the simple facts could make all this go away. I believe people have been blinded and this guy has been risen up as judgment against this country for its wickedness in turning from God's moral laws and because of its apathy and most recently because we have turned from Israel.

Somehow he could make it go away by telling the sheeple what they wanted to hear, even after saying something completely different the day before! He thinks the sheeple are incredibly stupid, that's for certain! It makes absolutely NO SENSE and that's how we know it is spiritual! People are spiritually blinded and cannot see the truth about this guy even when he tells us! It reminds me of "Left Behind" when Carpathian kills someone in the room and then tells the witnesses what they "really" saw and they believe him!
Joseph Farah asked the question in his commentary, "Why is this man still serving in the White House and turning the country upside down when he is not even constitutionally eligible?" Again the answer can only be because this is a spiritual battle. Why has this man come from nowhere with so little known of his past and no one questions it? Why does the media never question his double-speak and even hides any negative news? Why does no one in our government meant to represent the people do anything about this obvious cover-up? It IS covered up, regardless of whether you think it is true or not. Any reasonable person would have to admit Obama has spent a lot of money to cover up the facts, when the simple facts could make all this go away. I believe people have been blinded and this guy has been risen up as judgment against this country for its wickedness in turning from God's moral laws and because of its apathy and most recently because we have turned from Israel.

During LGBT Pride Month, we commemorate the events of June 1969 and commit to achieving equal justice under law for LGBT Americans.
LGBT Americans have made, and continue to make, great and lasting contributions that continue to strengthen the fabric of American society. There are many well-respected LGBT leaders in all professional fields, including the arts and business communities. LGBT Americans also mobilized the Nation to respond to the domestic HIV/AIDS epidemic and have played a vital role in broadening this country's response to the HIV pandemic.
Due in no small part to the determination and dedication of the LGBT rights movement, more LGBT Americans are living their lives openly today than ever before. I am proud to be the first President to appoint openly LGBT candidates to Senate-confirmed positions in the first 100 days of an Administration. These individuals embody the best qualities we seek in public servants, and across my Administration -- in both the White House and the Federal agencies -- openly LGBT employees are doing their jobs with distinction and professionalism.
The LGBT rights movement has achieved great progress, but there is more work to be done. LGBT youth should feel safe to learn without the fear of harassment, and LGBT families and seniors should be allowed to live their lives with dignity and respect.
My Administration has partnered with the LGBT community to advance a wide range of initiatives. At the international level, I have joined efforts at the United Nations to decriminalize homosexuality around the world. Here at home, I continue to support measures to bring the full spectrum of equal rights to LGBT Americans. These measures include enhancing hate crimes laws, supporting civil unions and Federal rights for LGBT couples, outlawing discrimination in the workplace, ensuring adoption rights, and ending the existing "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy in a way that strengthens our Armed Forces and our national security. We must also commit ourselves to fighting the HIV/AIDS epidemic by both reducing the number of HIV infections and providing care and support services to people living with HIV/AIDS across the United States.
These issues affect not only the LGBT community, but also our entire Nation. As long as the promise of equality for all remains unfulfilled, all Americans are affected. If we can work together to advance the principles upon which our Nation was founded, every American will benefit. During LGBT Pride Month, I call upon the LGBT community, the Congress, and the American people to work together to promote equal rights for all, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.

America Is in a Freefall - Will You Go Down Without The Parachute?
America is in a freefall, spiraling downward faster than many of us imagined. It's been in moral decline for some time now, but now also financial and political. The other day my husband and I were discussing what priorities should be now knowing that we are surely in the end times. He made the comment that the country was in freefall and now was the time for people to be grabbing their parachute. He was referring to the one and only real live-saving parachute and that is Jesus Christ. It is a guarantee that this country is going down if it continues along its path. It's probably too late to change its course considering the fast-track of this present administration, aided by a media that no longer tells the news or the truth, for that matter, and by Congressmen who are too afraid of being labeled racist or of losing their jobs that they don't DO their jobs of representing their constituency (which ironically will probably lose them their jobs, hopefully!). It's too late to save the country, but as always, when God sends judgment, it is for ultimate good. Right now people are apathetic and think they can ignore His laws, laws that are for our good; they look to government for their needs rather than to their Savior. It's when things get really bad, that people turn to their Savior. So good will happen during this time, not for our country, but for individual people.
The same day my husband said America was in a freefall, I got this email from Olive Tree Ministries, and in it, the author quoted Chuck Missler who said, "America is in moral freefall". The email gives a good perspective on how to view the falling of our country:
A Word on Citizenship

It's been many years since I've been able to sing The Star Spangled Banner without choking up. Given the opportunity to do it today, I doubt I could actually enunciate the words for weeping.
America is sinking fast. Chuck Missler, in his new DVD, Twilight's Last Gleaming, says, "America is in moral freefall. We are victims of spiritual warfare." Only too true.
How did this happen? For that answer, I refer you to Jan's recent radio program with Brannon Howse (you simply must hear this broadcast!!!), where they discuss cultural and political Marxism and how it snuck into our country many years ago. It explains a lot. Brannon also points to a period in Israel's history when the sins of the nation became so abhorrent to God that He told the prophet Jeremiah, "Therefore do not pray for this people, nor lift up a cry or prayer for them, nor make intercession to Me; for I will not hear you" (Jer. 7:16). Has America become this abhorrent to Almighty God?
We cannot know the mind of God, but Romans 1:18-32 shows a series of judgments that God will bring to a society that forsakes Him. John MacArthur expertly clarifies this passage in his sermon, When God Abandons a Nation. A glance at your favorite news source these days will confirm that our country is well down this path of destruction. We are not only in moral decline, but headed toward political, financial, and social ruin.
Our founding fathers, though saddened by this turn of events, would have gravely nodded their heads at what is taking place in America today. Thomas Jefferson once wrote, "God who gave us life gave us liberty. And can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are a gift from God? That they are not to be violated, but with His wrath? Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just, and that His justice cannot sleep forever."
Jack Kelley, founder of www.gracethrufaith.com, recently wrote an excellent article about this very thing. The title of the article stings a bit, but the truth in the text is beyond question. In it Jack says: "According to no less an authority than our President (and he's right) America is not a Christian nation. The only connection between God and America today is that a bunch of us who believe in Him happen to live here. . . . America is a secular gentile nation that will soon be no more comfortable a home for the church than pre-war Germany was for the Jews."
When I think of my beloved America, I grieve. But God has recently made poignant to me this truth: I am not a citizen of this country. I am an ambassador to this country and a citizen of another. So are you if you are a child of God by faith in Jesus Christ! Paul told the Philippians, "For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ" (Phil. 3:20).
Can you, today, get your mind around that concept? If you can, it will make a world of difference in how you view the news, how you respond to the dangers of our world, and how you look to the future.
We are actually commanded to set our mind on things above (Col. 3:1-3; but also Matt. 6:33), not on things on the earth. Now would be a very good time to recognize and obey this command!
Thinking of myself as an ambassador does three things for me.
First of all, it gives perspective to the freefall that America is in. I am still saddened, because I've lived here a long time and America has been a wonderful place to reside. But America isn't really home, so I find that I'm often looking at all that is going on with a kind of emotional/spiritual detachment.
Secondly, it reminds me that I have a job to do and that I may not have much longer to get it done! Our "special and temporary diplomatic assignment" (from Webster's definition of "ambassador") is to introduce as many people to the Lord Jesus Christ as possible (II Cor. 5:20).
Lastly, as I see all that is happening around me, I anticipate being recalled to my Home Country! There are many reasons for an ambassador to be recalled, not the least of which is the anticipation of a declaration of war. One day -- perhaps very soon -- war will be declared on this earth (Rev. 6:4ff), but before that takes place, the Lord's ambassadors will be recalled to Heaven!
So what do we do with all the horrible events that are swirling around us which seem to spell the demise of our beloved America? We pray (Eph. 6:18), we witness to others of the love of God in sending his Son (Matt. 28:18-20), we encourage one another (Heb. 10:24-25), and we look forward to going Home to the City God has prepared for us (Heb. 11:16; Rev. 21:2, and 21:9 -- 22:3). We have no idea how great it's going to be to be Home (I Cor. 2:9)! Even so, come, Lord Jesus!

Personally, I don't believe Christians will be "raptured" out of here before all the end time tribulation prophecies take place; I believe there are too many references to us enduring until the end. And to do that, we must be strong and I believe we are going through a refining process right now. So many people seem to be going through hard trials right now, but remember that God refines us as silver, He chastens the ones He loves, and He wants us to endure until the end and to not be deceived unto death.
Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction. - Isaiah 48:10
