Nietzsche is an atheist German philosopher who lived from 1844-1900 and together with others of the radical left of that time like Arthur Schopenhower created the intellectual atmosphere for Karl Marx and his Communist Manifesto. They called for changing society – but not to improve the life of people but to use them to gain power and keep it. He created the concept of "overman," the man stronger than others with the right to step over the weak, which attracted Hitler. The alternative to Marxism is not capitalism, as so many people believe. The only alternative is an answer to the spiritual fundament of this godless philosophy. The change they are talking about is no change but a steppingstone to their own power on the way to a totalitarian system. Socialist Hitler destroyed free society in a few months. Socialist Obama is close to his steppingstone. The following is an attempt to clarify the issue.
There is a fundamental difference between Marxism, provider of the socialist philosophy, and Christian teachings. The difference makes the two worldviews incompatible – in other words, you cannot be both. Whoever says that they are compatible either lies or is ignorant.
Marxists believe that a non-socialist society is to blame for what is wrong with people and therefore, change has to begin with those who are responsible for society, mainly "the rich." Others, not they, have to change, and the others are in the end all those who oppose socialism. People are either forced to comply or they are killed, as happened in Nazi Germany. If you put right what is wrong in society, so goes Marxist theory, you will heal injustice and people, products of a hostile society, will become their good selves. Healing is created by installing more and more socialists in office, socialist immorality and socialist programs.
Barack Obama has not touched corruption and moral issues. His plans for dealing with issues are of economic nature and are pure Marxism – blaming the non-socialist enemies and distributing money to bribe poor voters, making them dependent on government and cementing its power. Marxism's concepts lead to the welfare state – and on to a totalitarian system built on lies where government is central. There is no real concern for people; power is at the heart of all their projects.
Christianity teaches that what is wrong is the fallen nature of man, who gives in to the evil inside. Moral change in people and restoring the broken relationship with God will change what is wrong in society. Christian teachings are at the heart of our Constitution. Responsibility for oneself is a pre-condition for a healthy society. That is why America is special and prosperous. Government's task is to clear the way for initiatives of their citizens and not block it. John McCain and Sarah Palin's priority to clean up the government and bring it back to the people is exactly what America needs. They know, as we do, that Republicans, especially those at the center in Washington, are also responsible for ousting our Constitution from American society, with devastating consequences. John McCain and Sarah Palin are getting at this corruption, beginning with their own ranks. Their priorities are job creation, drilling and fighting inflation. They are pro-life and so is the Republican Party.
Sen. Obama answered the question of the Rev. Rick Warren regarding when life begins during a national television interview with "This is above my pay grade." I think he lied. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi stated, "I would say that as an ardent, practicing Catholic this is an issue that I have studied for a long time. And what I know is, over centuries the doctors of the church have not been able to make that definition. … We don't know. The point is that it shouldn't have an impact on a woman's right to choose." I think she lied. She is neither an ardent nor a normal Catholic; she is a godless socialist pagan. Colorado Archbishop Charles Chaput commented, "Democrats don't know Christianity." No woman has a right to have her child killed.
I heard Sen. Joe Biden say that he is pro-life but cannot force his religious views on others. So he is part of the abortion gang like a myriad of Democratic colleagues who also like to be on both sides of the issue.
The Democratic Party, with the leadership of Obama, the Clintons, Reid, Pelosi and comrades, is an illegitimate party that is destroying the Constitution – which leads to spiritual, political and economic disaster. It is illegitimate because of policy principles like abortion and also Darwinism being taught in schools. Instead of protecting life, this party promotes killing life. The Republican Party, on the other hand, is legitimate in principle with a majority that wants to do what is right but is lacking a national and personal purpose and therefore so often appeases what is wrong. Nobody wants to risk his position. It is the Appeaser's Party. There are too many who are looking after themselves first and their country second.
One central theme is enough to clarify why I say that the socialist Democratic Party is illegitimate. Their policies are Marxist and not American, and they promote immorality. It was the Soviet Union, for instance, that was the first state to make abortion legal, already at the beginning of the '20s. Having grown up in the godless totalitarian Nazi society, it is appalling for me to watch that in America, politicians can speak of their "Christian faith" and at the same time make abortion, same-sex marriage and homosexuality their party policy. Democrats are not fit for American constitutional government.
No government or parliament across the globe has the authority to overrule God. The godless national Socialists, called Nazis, did it, and my family, Jewish people, all Germans and Europeans paid dearly for it, because millions of us did not see our own evil inside. American soldiers shed their blood to liberate us from Nazi power. It pains me to see America today on the same track. Not only those who actively promote the godless programs allowed by our government establishment but also those who for personal reasons or lack of backbone appease them. They will pay for it, here and when they face their Creator. I know the consequence of a godless government. America must have a God-fearing government. The abortionists are closer to the Nazis than to our Founding Fathers. Both base their philosophy and action on lies.
According to an article by Gary Parker, president of the Alabama Policy Institute, in the Mobile Press-Register, Cecile Richards, president of Planned Parenthood, the national abortion provider, said, "I am still having trouble expressing the depth of my anger about McCain's choice of a running mate." Richards and Nancy Keenan, president of NARAL Pro-Choice America, were featured speakers at the Democratic National convention in Denver. They endorsed Obama, who supports federal funding for abortions. As Illinois state senator, he voted against the Born Alive Infant Protection bill, which would have prohibited the killing of late-term babies that survive attempted abortions. You wonder on what information Obama voted. Does he play superficially with human life? The following information is easy to come by. Pelosi's statement at the beginning of this article clearly means that it doesn't matter whether the baby inside the womb of the mother is alive or not we – will kill it anyway.
There are various ways to perform an abortion, but abortion is said to be more dangerous than childbirth. In a late-term partial-birth abortion, which is also used for advanced pregnancies, the cervix is dilated to allow passage of a ring forceps. A foot or lower leg is located and pulled into the vagina. The baby is extracted in breech fashion until the head is just inside the cervix. The baby's legs hang outside the woman's body. With the baby face down, scissors are plunged into the baby's head at the nape of the neck and spread open to enlarge the wound. A suction tip is inserted and the baby's brain is removed. The skull collapses and the baby is delivered. Sharp and suction curettage is continued until the walls of the womb are clean.
Suction aspiration is the most common method of abortion during the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. General or local anesthesia is given to the mother and her cervix is quickly dilated. A suction curette (hollow tube with a knife-edged tip) is inserted into the womb. This instrument is then connected to a vacuum machine by a transparent tube. The vacuum suction, 29 times more powerful than a household vacuum cleaner, tears the fetus and placenta into small pieces, which are sucked through the tube into a bottle and discarded.
Another procedure is called Dilatation and Evacuation and is performed during the second trimester, 4-6 months of pregnancy. A pliers-like instrument is needed because the baby's bones are calcified, as is the skull. There is no anesthetic for the baby. The abortionist inserts the instrument into the uterus, seizes a leg or other part of the body and, with a twisting motion, tears it from the baby's body. This is repeated again and again. The spine must be snapped and the skull crushed to remove them.
Let me educate Obama, Pelosi and their abortion gang who are exposing an unbelievable superficiality and disdain for human life in dealing with this subject of central importance for our nation. After all, according to the statistics, around 50 million killings of living human beings took place since the Supreme Court, with a one-vote majority, made unconstitutional abortion legal. The Nazis murdered 6 million Jews and 10 million others – Germans, Slavs, gypsies, handicapped, Christians, their opposition and others.
Life begins at conception. Modern technology allows observing what happens in the uterus of a woman and how in only five weeks a fetus grows from the size of a sesame seed to a baby developing brain, backbone, heart and everything else that makes a person. Science explains that it is possible that from one cell sex, the color of the eyes and hairs and a myriad of other features can be determined. Eighteen days after conception, there is a heartbeat; after 40 days the fetus has brain waves. Nothing changes in the nine months of pregnancy; everything just grows. My wife, Dina, and I can observe photos of how our grandchild grows from the size of sesame seed to a baby. We also saw on Fox News a video of another baby in the womb of her mother, a bit older than our grandchild. It is fascinating! Abortionists must be stopped from killing human beings.
We are living in the middle of humanity's insurrection against God. The insurrection consists of the organized abandonment of God's commandments in the once-Christian Western world and the establishment of a global social and political infrastructure, which is contrary to His order but capable of integrating Christian voters with a toothless Christian understanding. The United States is now spearheading this movement. At the same time, this nation still has a strong moral substance with people committed to reverse the trend into disaster. America will never win the ideological war unless it can defeat the lies that dominate our society. Change must come, but there must be moral change, each person beginning with oneself. Stop lying, make restitution, and stand up for truth. America should be spearheading lasting freedom across the world. Only freedom based on our Constitution and the absolute truth of God can last."

In Reply to Wordy, Part III
Wordy, I'm going to try to finish this up this time. You said:

Yes, the girls are victims, but they are victims of a liberal agenda that tells them this is what they'll do and throws condoms and abortion clinics at them and doesn't believe in real choice. I have to say honestly that it blows my mind that you think Republicans own the media! Then why aren't they for McCain and why does Sarah Palin get so beat up in the news for things like her clothes, her tanning bed, and her daughter's pregnancy? Christian organizations are ones fighting for decency on the air. Liberals are the ones who want all smut labeled as free speech.
You went on to say lots about the moral degradation in our country and I agree with you, but I already told you I think you are wrong about why it happened, so I won't go over all that again. But then you added:

I'm not supporting the rights of an unborn child because all men are created equal; I'm supporting life because the child is a person and no one has the right to take the life of an innocent child. Nor does my non-support of illegal activity mean I don't think those people are created equal. I don't support burglary, either, but it has nothing to do with thinking the burglar is not equal to me.

You are right that Jesus came to save souls and that He was not a passive man. But He said that He did not come to bring peace, but a sword. He said that He would divide families. He also said that He did not come to destroy the law, which was His Father's Law, but to fulfill it. He said that not one small detail, tittle, of the Law would pass away. He said God's Law would remain. Then He said another time to give to Caesar what was Caesar's, and give to God what was God's. But Peter later reminded us that when the law was in conflict with what was God's Law, then we were to obey God rather than man.
You said one thing that I don't think is right. Jesus did not only want to teach others what was in His soul was right, nor did He say what He felt. He came to do the Will of His Father only and to say only what His Father told Him to say. I'm going to quote exact Scripture for my point on this one. John 12:49 says "For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak." John 14:10 says "the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works." I think that is what the main problem is with this generation. Everyone wants to do what feels right to him, rather than what God and therefore Jesus, said to do. People want to do what is right in their own eyes, and Proverbs says that makes them fools.

Wow! No, I think I have shown and will continue to show that what I believe comes straight from the Bible. This is not really about politics at all; this is about the Bible and what God said. But since you brought up Republicans, I will say briefly that you have it all wrong. It's the socialized welfare state that has made people poorer. It's the Democrat Party that seeks to keep the poor dependent on the government so that they will do what it wants. It seeks to use class warfare to keep the people angry and wanting "change". With our government-run schools, why do you think American kids rank lowest among first world countries in math and science? Because our schools are too busy teaching environment and condom use and homosexuality and how to be a citizen of the world! They teach one-sided views on the environment and evolution and don't want free thinkers. People who think will see through their schemes. So they want to keep the people poor and dumb and dependent on them.
BUT even if you WERE right about the Republican Party, even if the Republican Party makes us all poor and the Democrats will make us rich, we should never look to the Democrat Party to supply our needs, especially when that party is in conflict with God in its other views. God said He would supply all our needs if we look to Him and put Him first. We don't look to Him first when we choose a party for selfish gain, overlooking God's more important moral laws.

Well, you're right about what is going on in the streets, but it's not just the rich; it's the poor, too, stealing and prostituting for drugs. But it's not because the rich Republicans caused it. It's because God has been pushed out of schools; it's because of radical feminism that has sought to destroy the family; it's because of sex and violence constantly bombarding our living rooms; it's because of selfishness and godlessness. God pegged these days long ago in scripture when Paul prophesied about disobedience to parents, people without natural affection (Jesus phrased it as love would wax cold), men lusting after men and women lusting after women, along with a host of other wicked sins. And why does He say that happened? Romans 1:21-22 says "Because that, when they knew God, they glorified Him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools." And they worshipped the created more than the Creator.
Jesus sought to save their souls, not alter their laws! Jesus was not a passive man, though; He was an influential speaker and a person that loved beyond himself. He sought no riches, he sought no power - he wanted only to teach others what He felt in His soul was right.
The Bible says nothing of Jesus reveling in the twisted world of politics and law. He did what was right, which was say what he felt and bless those around Him with devine knowledge.
You are right that Jesus came to save souls and that He was not a passive man. But He said that He did not come to bring peace, but a sword. He said that He would divide families. He also said that He did not come to destroy the law, which was His Father's Law, but to fulfill it. He said that not one small detail, tittle, of the Law would pass away. He said God's Law would remain. Then He said another time to give to Caesar what was Caesar's, and give to God what was God's. But Peter later reminded us that when the law was in conflict with what was God's Law, then we were to obey God rather than man.
You said one thing that I don't think is right. Jesus did not only want to teach others what was in His soul was right, nor did He say what He felt. He came to do the Will of His Father only and to say only what His Father told Him to say. I'm going to quote exact Scripture for my point on this one. John 12:49 says "For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak." John 14:10 says "the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works." I think that is what the main problem is with this generation. Everyone wants to do what feels right to him, rather than what God and therefore Jesus, said to do. People want to do what is right in their own eyes, and Proverbs says that makes them fools.

Wow! No, I think I have shown and will continue to show that what I believe comes straight from the Bible. This is not really about politics at all; this is about the Bible and what God said. But since you brought up Republicans, I will say briefly that you have it all wrong. It's the socialized welfare state that has made people poorer. It's the Democrat Party that seeks to keep the poor dependent on the government so that they will do what it wants. It seeks to use class warfare to keep the people angry and wanting "change". With our government-run schools, why do you think American kids rank lowest among first world countries in math and science? Because our schools are too busy teaching environment and condom use and homosexuality and how to be a citizen of the world! They teach one-sided views on the environment and evolution and don't want free thinkers. People who think will see through their schemes. So they want to keep the people poor and dumb and dependent on them.
BUT even if you WERE right about the Republican Party, even if the Republican Party makes us all poor and the Democrats will make us rich, we should never look to the Democrat Party to supply our needs, especially when that party is in conflict with God in its other views. God said He would supply all our needs if we look to Him and put Him first. We don't look to Him first when we choose a party for selfish gain, overlooking God's more important moral laws.

All I can judge are the fruits and my concern is with organizations like Matthew 25 and wicked leaders who seek to call good evil and call evil good as our Lord warned us about. A Canadian's Observation of Our Politics
I heard some remarkable comments by a guest on the Huckabee show on FOX on Sunday night. Her opinion wasn't so remarkable really to me, but remarkably interesting to hear someone from the outside looking in. Her name was Lynn and she was in the studio audience on Huckabee and had a question for Mike Huckabee and Joe the Plumber, who was a guest on the show. I found the video on the Huckabee site and have transcribed it myself, because I couldn't find a transcription anywhere else and I think it needs to be read by all Americans!
"Thank you, Mike. My question is for you and Joe, and I wanted to know...I'm visiting from Canada. I'm proud to live next to what I believe is the greatest nation in the world for doing good for others in your history. I understand the anger in the economy, but I don't understand its direction. George Bush has been a great president; he's kept you safe. For 7 of his 8 years, the economy was booming. Since the Democrats took Congress, looking from outside, I've seen huge increases in spending. Um, Mr. Bush has kept you safe. He's brought the war off your shore over to Iraq. Now he's bringing it home in victory. And again, you're such a great nation. You've freed a country over there. You've given the people hospitals and schools. Why are people angry at George Bush and the Republicans? And not Nancy Pelosi, Barney Frank, ACORN, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac?" The applause cut her off.
Amazing how this Canadian lady can see the truth and our country seems to be so blinded by hatred. The biased media that is no longer a real news source, but only an editorial, the liberal left media that hates Bush and wants a Democrat in office at whatever costs, no matter his corrupt past, no matter what, has fueled the hatred and blinded the people who will not look below the surface for the truth. I hope reading the words of someone from the outside looking in causes some pause for thought.

"The Messiah is Absolutely Speaking"
This is absolutely chilling! The words of Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan spoken about Barack Obama:
"You are the instruments that God is going to use to bring about universal change, and that is why Barack has captured the youth. And he has involved young people in a political process that they didn't care anything about. That's a sign. When the Messiah speaks, the youth will hear, and the Messiah is absolutely speaking."
Just add this to a long list of similar statements liking Obama to the Messiah. How can they even speak these words? It's blasphemous! I just can't stand it! They surely can't be Christians because they can't possibly know what they are actually saying. The people listening and accepting these messages can't possibly be Christians or else they would understand what is going on. There is only one Messiah. When statements like this are made about a MAN, it can only be about the antichrist. And what Christian would want to be associated with the antichrist? Even if Obama is not THE antichrist, he is certainly of an antichrist spirit. One only need listen to his own words as he twists scripture to imply it condones homosexuality, or in this disturbing instance, listen to him sarcastically belittle the scriptures:
"Which passages of Scripture should guide our public policy? Should we go with Leviticus, which suggests slavery is OK and that eating shellfish is abomination? How about Deuteronomy, which suggests stoning your child if he strays from the faith? Or should we just stick to the Sermon on the Mount - a passage that is so radical that it's doubtful that our own Defense Department would survive its application? So before we get carried away, let's read our Bibles. Folks haven't been reading their Bibles."
Find the clip on You Tube and listen to it in his own voice and hear the irreverence. How could any Bible-believing Christian stand to listen to this guy? I want nothing to do with this blasphemy!

Can a True Christian Vote for Obama or Any Democrat, for That Matter?
I honestly don't see how, knowing the views and the party's platform. I would invite anyone who thinks otherwise to tell me how, but I would be willing to bet I could shoot down his/her argument. I don't think it can be done. I'm not talking about local elections. In some small towns there is still this thought process that one can only win if he's a Democrat if in a predominantly Democrat district. Thankfully, I know of two in my area who have decided they could no longer run under such an ungodly party title and switched to Republican, regardless of the decision's consequences on their elections. I am proud of them both for taking the right stand.
When the Republican candidate was first announced, I can honestly say I was not happy with the choice at all. I wasn't sure I would vote for McCain, especially not knowing who the Democrat choice would be. But even before Obama was declared the Democrat candidate, I had begun to come around to McCain. As a Christian, I did my best to look at things from God's perspective. What were the most important important issues? Undeniably, I felt they were life, the attack on traditional marriage, and the attack on God in the public square. I believe this is very Biblical. Interestingly, it falls in line pretty closely with our country's Declaration of Independence which declared the rights given us by our Creator: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Everyone has the right to life, everyone from the smallest baby to the oldest to the most severely disabled. Only God is the author of life. We have the right to freedom, and this requires a delicate balance, it seems, to allow various peoples with various customs to be free to live how they choose. We are free to pursue happiness, but we are not guaranteed a RIGHT to happiness; I think this is a very important distinction.
When I considered the life issue, knowing how important innocent life is to God, I could not deny that only McCain voted for life. Not only is Obama 100% pro-abortion and against any restrictions on abortion, even very practical restrictions like informing the parents or giving the mother all her options so she can make an informed decision! Beyond even that, Obama voted repeatedly to let a complete outside-the-womb born-alive baby DIE when that baby happened to survive an abortion attempt!
I also recognized how important the homosexual issue is to God. He called it an abomination! He destroyed cities because of it and even warned that their destruction was to be used as a warning to us in the future if we found ourselves drifting into such immorality. I see this country boldly embracing homosexuality as normal and natural and even promoting it as something to be celebrated and wonder how we can just ignore God's warning? Surely Christians cannot! Although McCain has not been as strong as I would like in defending marriage, he doesn't go as far as Obama who has said that he would repeal the Defense of Marriage Act that defines marriage as the union of one man and one woman. Obama also supports other pro-homosexual resolutions like hate crimes and employment discrimination acts where homosexuality is protected. People need to wake up and realize that these types of bills seek to give MORE protections to homosexuals than to the average Americans! We already have laws against acts of violence. Why should there be a greater penalty to someone who assaults a gay man than to one who assaults your elderly grandmother? When there is, does that not elevate the status of the gay man above the elderly grandmother? There are already laws against discrimination, but must a Christian-owned daycare be forced to hire a homosexual? Does that not elevate the rights of the homosexual above those of the Christian who no longer has the right to hire whom he chooses? Homosexuals have always had the freedom to do what they wanted in private and to get most jobs they wanted, especially if they kept their sexual orientation private. But they want to celebrate their homosexuality and force people to accept them because of it. Lots of people looking for jobs choose to try to keep aspects of their private lives private. People don't go into interviews celebrating the fact they go night-clubbing and drinking every night or that they do recreational drugs. They don't promote the fact they may be having adulterous relationships. It's silly to think that homosexuality should be treated any differently! No Christian should support a candidate or a party platform that seeks to elevate the status of homosexuals when God so plainly warned against it!
Thirdly, how can a Christian support the removal of God in public places? This is a subtlety that is hard to measure with vote records only, but once again, if you elevate the rights of the homosexual over the rights of a Christian, then you must silence the Christian who "offends" the homosexual with their views. This is what Hate Crimes, Fairness Doctrine, and Employment Non-Discrimination laws all seek to do - silence the Christian in the public square, on the public airways, in public schools, but while fully promoting homosexuality. What does a true Christian think God thinks of this?
I find that many so-called Christians are trying to rationalize their decisions to vote Democrat and most especially for Obama, but their rationalizations don't hold up no matter how hard they try. There's mainstream media, Hollywood, TV stars, and even so-called Christian organizations that are twisting truth to make voting Democrat and more specifically for Obama more palatable. The shameful Matthew 25 Network takes the very words of our Lord and seeks to twist them into an endorsement of Obama! The Matthew 25 Network has even launched ProLifeProObama.com! They have twisted the pro-life message to mean that choosing life is choosing to support the woman who wants to kill her baby! When abortion was first legalized in the 70's, there was a question as to when life first began. With our modern technology, no one can question that a baby in the womb is alive from the beginning, so pro-abortionists have to come up with a new argument to advance their side. But what rational thinking person could ever really condone killing one life for the convenience of another? It's absurd! It's true, we all sin, and if a woman has chosen abortion, we do love and support her. If the decision is past, she can be forgiven as we can be forgiven for all sins if we repent. If the decision is in the making, the way to support her would be to attempt to change her mind by showing the error of her decision, just as anyone would try to stop a person from harming another person or themselves. Life is life and any true Christian knows that.
Christians have been told that to accept homosexuality is to be tolerant. Real Christians are quite tolerant of people, sinners, and love them enough to want to save them, as we all have been saved from destruction. Turning a blind eye is certainly easy but it doesn't help anyone. "Live and let live" can be a pretty selfish attitude, but there are times when this is appropriate, to be sure. That is the way this lifestyle has been dealt with in the past. All of us have known homosexuals in our past and we have lived among them. But Christians must understand that to advance the cause and promote the lifestyle beyond the rights of other Americans, which is most surely what Obama and the Democrat platform seek to do, is to ignore the very words of God!
Christians, do you think it is right to push the mention of God out of any public place because it might offend someone? Not to mention the fact that we were founded as a Christian nation and as a historical fact, we should be allowed to keep all references, but consider for a moment the references that could be offensive to a Christian. Where's the push to eliminate all references to Muslims, to witchcraft, to atheists, or even homosexuality, for that matter? Any attempt to believe that eliminating God is being tolerant is just being ignorant! It has nothing to do with being tolerant, but everything to do with just plain eliminating God, and no Christian should stand for it. Never mind that is what new age so-called Christians like Oprah and Obama and a host of TV pastors try to tell you. Christians, just read your Bibles!
Sometimes the arguers for Obama try to twist the debate to say that there are more pressing moral issues than life and homosexuality. Like global warming or saving our planet, for instance? Straight out of the Bible you will read what God thinks of people who put the so-called life of the planet above Him and real life! They try to tell us that global poverty is the greater moral issue. The Lord said the poor will be with us always, and while, as Christians, we should help the poor, it never trumps our Lord! They try to convince us that our pro-life stance is hypocritical because we send young men into battle and execute death row inmates, and they choose the loftier position to save our soldiers and convicted criminals! I won't even try to rationalize war and the death penalty, but obviously there were wars and criminals put to death in the Bible. Any rational-thinking person would have to agree that soldiers CHOOSE to be soldiers, at least at this time, and criminals CHOOSE their action, knowing the consequences, but an innocent baby does not have a choice. God has plenty to say about shedding innocent blood, and sacrificing children, and He hates it!
Any Christian who tries to use arguments about who's best for the economy or who will give us the best health care is using wrong-headed thinking, as well. Government-run, wealth-redistributing, socialized policies are anti-Biblical, but more importantly, we should never look to the government to be our savior, anyway! God says to look to Him first and He will provide. Any tither knows the way to financial stability; he trusts God with his finances, not government.
When all else fails, the tactic most often used by the so-called Christian who wants to vote for Obama anyway is to just ignore the facts! I have seen firsthand how ordinarily rational people will dismiss any argument against their precious Obama, and don't even want to listen. I guess that's the best way. After all, what you don't know can't hurt you, right? Well, at least ignorance is bliss, because then you don't have to contend with that nasty guilty feeling. And that is the reason the media, Hollywood, and the liberals in general, push this platform, and want to push Christians out, because Christians and their God and more specifically Jesus Christ, make them feel bad about their choices. Get rid of God and the Christians and get rid of guilt. But it doesn't really get rid of it; it just attempts to hide it, but that brings us back to "ignorance is bliss so I don't have to feel guilty". Christians should wake up, read their Bibles and seek God first, and NO, under no circumstances could they vote for the likes of Obama or even the Democrat platform, knowing the ungodly stands they take!
When the Republican candidate was first announced, I can honestly say I was not happy with the choice at all. I wasn't sure I would vote for McCain, especially not knowing who the Democrat choice would be. But even before Obama was declared the Democrat candidate, I had begun to come around to McCain. As a Christian, I did my best to look at things from God's perspective. What were the most important important issues? Undeniably, I felt they were life, the attack on traditional marriage, and the attack on God in the public square. I believe this is very Biblical. Interestingly, it falls in line pretty closely with our country's Declaration of Independence which declared the rights given us by our Creator: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Everyone has the right to life, everyone from the smallest baby to the oldest to the most severely disabled. Only God is the author of life. We have the right to freedom, and this requires a delicate balance, it seems, to allow various peoples with various customs to be free to live how they choose. We are free to pursue happiness, but we are not guaranteed a RIGHT to happiness; I think this is a very important distinction.
When I considered the life issue, knowing how important innocent life is to God, I could not deny that only McCain voted for life. Not only is Obama 100% pro-abortion and against any restrictions on abortion, even very practical restrictions like informing the parents or giving the mother all her options so she can make an informed decision! Beyond even that, Obama voted repeatedly to let a complete outside-the-womb born-alive baby DIE when that baby happened to survive an abortion attempt!
I also recognized how important the homosexual issue is to God. He called it an abomination! He destroyed cities because of it and even warned that their destruction was to be used as a warning to us in the future if we found ourselves drifting into such immorality. I see this country boldly embracing homosexuality as normal and natural and even promoting it as something to be celebrated and wonder how we can just ignore God's warning? Surely Christians cannot! Although McCain has not been as strong as I would like in defending marriage, he doesn't go as far as Obama who has said that he would repeal the Defense of Marriage Act that defines marriage as the union of one man and one woman. Obama also supports other pro-homosexual resolutions like hate crimes and employment discrimination acts where homosexuality is protected. People need to wake up and realize that these types of bills seek to give MORE protections to homosexuals than to the average Americans! We already have laws against acts of violence. Why should there be a greater penalty to someone who assaults a gay man than to one who assaults your elderly grandmother? When there is, does that not elevate the status of the gay man above the elderly grandmother? There are already laws against discrimination, but must a Christian-owned daycare be forced to hire a homosexual? Does that not elevate the rights of the homosexual above those of the Christian who no longer has the right to hire whom he chooses? Homosexuals have always had the freedom to do what they wanted in private and to get most jobs they wanted, especially if they kept their sexual orientation private. But they want to celebrate their homosexuality and force people to accept them because of it. Lots of people looking for jobs choose to try to keep aspects of their private lives private. People don't go into interviews celebrating the fact they go night-clubbing and drinking every night or that they do recreational drugs. They don't promote the fact they may be having adulterous relationships. It's silly to think that homosexuality should be treated any differently! No Christian should support a candidate or a party platform that seeks to elevate the status of homosexuals when God so plainly warned against it!
Thirdly, how can a Christian support the removal of God in public places? This is a subtlety that is hard to measure with vote records only, but once again, if you elevate the rights of the homosexual over the rights of a Christian, then you must silence the Christian who "offends" the homosexual with their views. This is what Hate Crimes, Fairness Doctrine, and Employment Non-Discrimination laws all seek to do - silence the Christian in the public square, on the public airways, in public schools, but while fully promoting homosexuality. What does a true Christian think God thinks of this?
I find that many so-called Christians are trying to rationalize their decisions to vote Democrat and most especially for Obama, but their rationalizations don't hold up no matter how hard they try. There's mainstream media, Hollywood, TV stars, and even so-called Christian organizations that are twisting truth to make voting Democrat and more specifically for Obama more palatable. The shameful Matthew 25 Network takes the very words of our Lord and seeks to twist them into an endorsement of Obama! The Matthew 25 Network has even launched ProLifeProObama.com! They have twisted the pro-life message to mean that choosing life is choosing to support the woman who wants to kill her baby! When abortion was first legalized in the 70's, there was a question as to when life first began. With our modern technology, no one can question that a baby in the womb is alive from the beginning, so pro-abortionists have to come up with a new argument to advance their side. But what rational thinking person could ever really condone killing one life for the convenience of another? It's absurd! It's true, we all sin, and if a woman has chosen abortion, we do love and support her. If the decision is past, she can be forgiven as we can be forgiven for all sins if we repent. If the decision is in the making, the way to support her would be to attempt to change her mind by showing the error of her decision, just as anyone would try to stop a person from harming another person or themselves. Life is life and any true Christian knows that.
Christians have been told that to accept homosexuality is to be tolerant. Real Christians are quite tolerant of people, sinners, and love them enough to want to save them, as we all have been saved from destruction. Turning a blind eye is certainly easy but it doesn't help anyone. "Live and let live" can be a pretty selfish attitude, but there are times when this is appropriate, to be sure. That is the way this lifestyle has been dealt with in the past. All of us have known homosexuals in our past and we have lived among them. But Christians must understand that to advance the cause and promote the lifestyle beyond the rights of other Americans, which is most surely what Obama and the Democrat platform seek to do, is to ignore the very words of God!
Christians, do you think it is right to push the mention of God out of any public place because it might offend someone? Not to mention the fact that we were founded as a Christian nation and as a historical fact, we should be allowed to keep all references, but consider for a moment the references that could be offensive to a Christian. Where's the push to eliminate all references to Muslims, to witchcraft, to atheists, or even homosexuality, for that matter? Any attempt to believe that eliminating God is being tolerant is just being ignorant! It has nothing to do with being tolerant, but everything to do with just plain eliminating God, and no Christian should stand for it. Never mind that is what new age so-called Christians like Oprah and Obama and a host of TV pastors try to tell you. Christians, just read your Bibles!
Sometimes the arguers for Obama try to twist the debate to say that there are more pressing moral issues than life and homosexuality. Like global warming or saving our planet, for instance? Straight out of the Bible you will read what God thinks of people who put the so-called life of the planet above Him and real life! They try to tell us that global poverty is the greater moral issue. The Lord said the poor will be with us always, and while, as Christians, we should help the poor, it never trumps our Lord! They try to convince us that our pro-life stance is hypocritical because we send young men into battle and execute death row inmates, and they choose the loftier position to save our soldiers and convicted criminals! I won't even try to rationalize war and the death penalty, but obviously there were wars and criminals put to death in the Bible. Any rational-thinking person would have to agree that soldiers CHOOSE to be soldiers, at least at this time, and criminals CHOOSE their action, knowing the consequences, but an innocent baby does not have a choice. God has plenty to say about shedding innocent blood, and sacrificing children, and He hates it!
Any Christian who tries to use arguments about who's best for the economy or who will give us the best health care is using wrong-headed thinking, as well. Government-run, wealth-redistributing, socialized policies are anti-Biblical, but more importantly, we should never look to the government to be our savior, anyway! God says to look to Him first and He will provide. Any tither knows the way to financial stability; he trusts God with his finances, not government.

"Say It Ain't So, Joe"
I love folksy honest Christian Sarah Palin! What a breath of fresh air she is! What a bold confident stand she took against Joe Biden in the debate! Joe spewed fact after fact after fact at her, or were they actually facts? It seems Joe had quite a few gaffes, but does the liberal biased media ever notice a liberal's gaffe? Imagine if Sarah Palin had misspoken regarding the Constitution's articles defining the vice-presidency as Joe Biden did? It would be all over with proof positive that she was too dumb and inexperienced to be vice-president! But after 35 years of experience in the Congress, it's no big deal that Joe Biden doesn't know the basics of the Constitution he is supposed to uphold. Joe Biden flatly lied about McCain votes and when did "we kick Hezbollah out of Lebanon"? Sarah caught him in some of his flip-flops to the Obama side after he had formerly denounced the Obama position before he became Obama's running mate. I am convinced that the majority of the Americans are basically conservative or at least moderately so. They certainly are no where close to the extreme left side of Obama and Hollywood, but with the huge media bias, indoctrination, and fraud, a conservative has to win by a landslide to barely squeak out a win in this day and age. I pray for a landslide!

Is this not the creepiest candidacy in the history of this country? I just saw the 24-hour Obama channel on my satellite. There are these chilling videos on the internet with children singing the praises of Obama and militant youth marching to an "Alpha Omega" Obama chant. Quite reminiscent of Hitler's "He alone who owns the youth gains the future". And let us not forget his screaming chanting fainting crowds, his own presidential seal, and his replacement of the American flag with the big O. He is a blend of antichrist and Hitler. I don't believe Obama is THE antichrist, but there is definitely an antichrist spirit about him - his socialist one-world beliefs, his unbelievable arrogance, his irreverent references to Jesus and the Bible, and his constant lying spirit when he obviously knows they are lies. It's as if he thinks he is above it all; the lies can't hurt him, because the foolish peons will believe what they are told. If his followers could only see what he really obviously thinks of them. When someone is so arrogant to tell lie after lie with no thought of any consequence, is that not demeaning to his listeners? He gets unbelievable help from a media so biased, it can never be taken seriously again. Obama's unending line of terrorist, socialist, and communist associations are not news, but Sarah Palin's purchase of a tanning bed is! It's a joke, except that it is a sad truth. I have never before thought of this country as one with an oppressed people, but I am beginning to see it that way. When the views of the actual mainstream American people are seen, we see a moderately conservative people, but there is a maniacal push to conceal or ridicule it "if it rears its ugly head". There is an indoctrination of the people like I don't think we've ever seen in an election, and it is just chilling to me. WAKE UP, PEOPLE!
